The Sterling Highway connects Anchorage to Homer, Alaska – a distance of about 138 miles. This road is the only highway in the western and central Kenai Peninsula. It traverses many popular recreational areas such as the Chugach National Forest and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. The southern end of the highway ends at the famous Homer Spit (a large sandbar that extends into Kachemak Bay). جاك بوت

Construction of the Sterling Highway began in 1947 and was completed in 1950.

The Sterling Highway intersects with the Seward Highway at Tern Lake. Subsequently, the 0 mile marker begins in the town of Seward and mileposts along the Sterling Highway begin with Mile 37 and reflect the distance from the town of Seward. لعبة poker
